Zachary Colbroth ... enjoyed sports wagering; at 28

ROCHESTER - Zachary Steven Colbroth was tragically taken from all who loved him at the age of 28 years old on Aug. 26, 2023. He was the light of life, laughter and love and his hugs will always be remembered with grace and "I love you's".

Zachary was born on March 20, 1995, and will be missed everyday by his father, Steven Colbroth, Jr. and mother Stephanie (Podolec) Jones.

Zach enjoyed spending time with his brothers and friends, and living life to its fullest. In the words of his siblings and close friends...Zach was an avid sports fan and loved betting on Draftkings. He was a kind hearted soul who just loved a good time. All he wanted was to make people smile and laugh. He wanted the best for everyone and he loved so hard, especially his friends and family. Zach loved the perfect outfit (never shorts), his shades, eating his vegetables, and singing his favorite song out loud. When at family events he always had a way to make everyone laugh and loved the way he always said "dude" then laugh afterwards. He loved all animals, especially his fur babies Sadie and Harlem. He loved to crack jokes and his presence filled a room like no other.

Socks were his favorite Christmas gift! Zach was kind, caring, and put his family first and foremost. He was more than their brother, he was their friend, a best friend. He would give you the shirt off his back.

Zachary came from a beautifully blessed family, and his family was very important to him. His family includes his son Bryce Plaisted, with whom he will miss out on many loving memories. Zachary's bonus parents Will Jones and Tracy (Boisvert) Colbroth; sisters Jennifer (Gillette) Smith and her husband Chris Smith, Josie Gillette, Siena Jones; brothers Leevi Gillette, Connor Gillette, Hunter Whitaker, Lincoln Jones; bonus siblings Lauren Mendonca and Evan Mendonca; grandparents Mike and Kathleen Grassi, Robert and Jennifer Johnson, Richard and June Podolec, Steven Colbroth, Sr.; bonus grandparents Sue Jones and Val Dubois, Denis and Janet Boisvert; great-grandmother June Goodfield.

Zachary's aunts and uncles include Mandy and Jason Barstow (& Zade), Adam and Stacy Podolec (& Meredith/Jared & Owen), Lisa Colbroth (& Angelina), along with many extended aunts and uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles, and cousins. His nieces Keilee, Neely & Nova and nephews Nolan, & Auron will miss seeing their Unkie Zach more than words can even express.
