ROCHESTER - Jersey Mike's Subs will open at 155 Marketplace Blvd. in Rochester on Wednesday.

Franchise owner Matt Goyette will hold a grand opening and fundraiser from Wednesday to Sunday to support Spaulding High School. Customers who receive a special fund-raising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort prior to the opening can make a minimum $3 contribution to Spaulding High School in exchange for a regular sub. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

"Jersey Mike's Seacoast is so grateful to grow with another location here in Rochester," said Goyette. "For grand openings we partner with our local schools to support the community's finest-the children. We hope to continue to provide both sustenance and support to Spaulding High School and the community at large."

Jersey Mike's believes that making a sub sandwich and making a difference can be one and the same, the company said in a Monday press release. Since 2010, Jersey Mike's locations throughout the country have raised more than $135 million for local charities. In 2024, the company's 14th Annual Jersey Mike's Month of Giving in March raised $25 million for more than 200 local charities.
