YORK, Maine - A York man died on Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with two other vehicles. York police responded to the crash scene on the Spur Road around 4:30 p.m., where they found the operator of the motorcycle, Kyle Rockwood, no age given, deceased at the scene. The operators of the other two vehicles were not seriously injured, police say. A brief investigation revealed that Rockwood was traveling east near the Interstate-95 northbound exit into York when a Nissan Rogue, driven by Dawn Hamdi, of Greenland, N.H., had just exited I-95 and was traveling across Spur Road to make a left turn to head west. The motorcycle and Nissan collided in the middle of the intersection, according to safety officials. A portion of Spur Road was closed for around two hours.
