DOVER - A former Rochester bank employee will serve a year in the Strafford County Jail after pleading guilty to stealing almost $60,000 from a customer’s account over an 18-month period
The money was taken from an elderly Profile Bank customer whose account was plundered between February 2010 and October of 2011.
Kristin Fallon, 34, of Berwick, Maine, pleaded guilty to the charge of felony theft by unauthorized taking earlier this week and has begun her sentence at the jail.
As part of the agreement she must make restitution to the bank for $25,000 and $33,000 to an insurance company.
Fallon, who had been employed by Profile Bank for several years, was finally arrested in April 2012.
