Today's high of 93 will be followed by 92 on Saturday, 94 on Sunday and 90 on Monday, with heat indexes over 100 except on Monday.
Meanwhile, nighttime lows over the weekend won't get below 70.
Thunderstorms, some violent, are likely for today, Saturday and Monday, but it will be Monday's that ushers in the more comfortable weather on Tuesday with a high of 80.
High temps stay in the 80s for the remainder of the week with nighttime lows in the mid-50s to mid-60s.
