ROCHESTER - The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts has announced an exhibition titled "By & By," that will feature the works of Nate Twombly in the Bernier Room, at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center.
Twombly is an interdisciplinary artist and illustrator hailing from Hooksett. His artwork is a tribute to the charming and delightful aspects of everyday New England life, captured in exquisite detail in his illustrations. Twombly obtained his degree from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2009, and has since created a diverse portfolio that showcases his versatile skills in various mediums such as pen and ink, watercolor, and digital art.
His captivating artwork has been showcased at some of the most prestigious venues in the region, including the Newport Folk Festival, Arts on The Green, Kelley Stelling Contemporary Gallery, Kimball Jenkins School of Art and the Deerfield Fair. His use of color, light, and texture brings his illustrations to life, and his unique perspective on the world around us creates a lasting impression on all those who encounter his work.
The exhibition will be on view from May 8 until June 30, with a reception planned for June 17 from 5-7 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend. The James W.
