Woman's body found in Merrimack River near Bow boat launch

BOW - The body of an adult female was discovered on Thursday in the Merrimack River near the Bow boat launch.

The woman's remains were found by a pair of fishermen, who reported the discovery to Bow Police a little before noon, according to a Marine Patrol press release.

Investigators are working with the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in an effort to identify the victim. An autopsy has been scheduled for later today in Concord.
