ROCHESTER -- A passenger on a motorcycle was injured when the operator was forced to lay the bike down to avoid hitting a pickup truck crossing in front of him into a driveway Wednesday night.
Rochester Police and Fire responded to the area of Milton Road by Cross Road around 7 p.m. and found that Raymond Dionne Jr., 35, of Milton, was northbound on Milton Road operating a 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a 2005 Nissan Altima traveling south crossed the northbound lane in front of the motorcycle attempting to turn into a driveway.
The pickup truck was driven by Richard Fountain, 31, of East Rochester.
Dionne and his adult female passenger were not wearing helmets.
She was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital by EMS with what were described as minor injuries.
The motorcycle sustained moderate damage but was able to be driven from the scene.
