Woman accused of going through Hannaford self checkout sans scan

ROCHESTER - A Barrington woman was arrested on Thursday after she is alleged to have failed to scan $53.45 worth of items at a Rochester Hannaford's.
Aleisha M Bartlebaugh, 33, of Longshore Drive in Barrington, was charged with misdemeanor theft by unauthorized taking, a charge that is punishable by up to a year in county jail.
Hannaford reported the alleged theft to police.
Barrington Police made initial contact with Bartlebaugh and later transferred custody to RPD.
