Click Your Heels Together!  Take the whole family on a magical musical journey to the Emerald City with Dorothy and her little dog, Toto, when Rochester Opera House Productions presents The Wizard of Oz.

Audiences can expect an entirely new production with surprising special effects and visuals, created by Director Seraphina Caligiure and Scenic Designer Jerard-James Craven. The production features aerial dancers, flying with artistry and grace, throughout the performance.

Enhancing this musical treat is live music directed by the masterful Kathy Fink.  Before the show, children and their families can skip down a real-life Yellow Brick Road, leading the way to the theater in Rochester City Hall.

As audiences travel down the Road with Dorothy (Meghan D. Morash) and Toto, they meet Scarecrow (Aaron Howland), Tin Woodman (Adam MacDougall) and Cowardly Lion (Robert Collinge II) in their quest to find the Wizard of Oz (Mike Coppinger).

Dorothy and her friends must watch for the Wicked Witch of the West (Heather Glenn-Wixson) and her Winged Monkeys, while seeking help from Good Witch of the South (Samantha Bagdon). Transport your family to the wonderful Wizard of Oz opening on April 10 and running through April 27 with evening and matinee performances.

Purchase tickets online at RochesterOperaHouse.com or call/stop by the box office at (603) 335-1992 on M/W/F from 10-5 or two hours before the show.  This show is sponsored by TD Bank, Foster’s Daily Democrat, Albany International, Liberty Mutual, WHOM 94.9, Studley Flower Gardens, Northeast Delta Dental, Broadview Animal Hospital and Holy Rosary Credit Union.  Rochester Opera House is located in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH.  The season continues with The Lottery Cocktail Party 5/2.
