FARMINGTON - William G. "Bill" Patch died on Jan. 31, 2025. He was the best Dad in the world, friend to hundreds, mentor to dozens, and admired and respected by everyone who came in contact with him.
He fought a good fight and left knowing how loved he was by his family and friends. He passed peacefully surrounded by the ones who love him the most.
William was born Nov. 4, 1954, in Rochester, to the late Clerence and Delia (Potvin) Patch.
William spent his days as a mechanic, always working on cars. He was very proud of his grand-daughter, Montanna, who followed in his footsteps as a mechanic, serving as an AME in the Navy. William was very passionate about his camp in Dummer, spending his time outside having bonfires, Moose Shopping, feeding the deer, snowmobiling, riding atv's, and enjoying the many faces that visited camp. Camp was his pride and joy! William was a part of the Moose Lodge of Milton and enjoyed having a nightly drink with all his friends and being served by his favorite bartender Kate.
William is survived by his five children, Scott Bryant, and his wife Nikki, of Rochester; Maryann Patch, of Farmington; Billie (his namesake) Peters, and her husband Dennis, Jr of Farmington, Nicole Oliveri, of Maine; and Derek Patch of Farmington.
He is also survived by siblings Bruce Patch, Nancy Gagne, Phyllis Evans, Barbra Bilodeau, Betty Casey; Special nephew, Paul Bilodeau and wife Krystal; Special niece Lisa Marcoux; fourteen grandchildren, Kyra and husband Ahmed, Montanna and husband Jake, ShonLuke and spouse Mason, Emily and fiancé Josh, Aurora, Jeremy, Joseph, Joshua, Jayda, Jasmine, Tatum, Troid, Jr., Tehya, Trevor, and two great-grandchildren Keilani and Tariq. He is also survived by his dog and best friend, Mister Patch and many nieces and nephews.
William is predeceased by his son Troid W. Patch, Sr.; best friend Howard (Sully) Sullivan; his brother Wayne Patch; and Nephew David Marcoux.
