Wayne Newman ... enjoyed collecting old cast iron cars

CENTER STRAFFORD - Wayne J. Newman, 68, of 100 Water Street, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at his home after a brief illness. He was born November 3, 1950 in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, the son of the late Gerald and Marie (McCouskey) Newman. He has resided in Strafford for the past 12 years previously from Rochester.
Wayne was a truck driver for Redimix Company. He enjoyed fishing and collecting old cast iron cars.
Members of his family include his wife of 40 years, Theresa (Ricker) Newman; son, Robert Demerritt, Jr.; daughters, Christine and Linda Demerritt; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Bertrand, Wanda Devoe, Ricky, Kenny and Todd Newman and several nieces and nephews.
