ROCHESTER - "Fugitive of the Week" Kyle Henderson was arrested around noon on Friday in Rochester by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and several officers from the Rochester Police Department.
Henderson had been wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the Strafford County Sheriff's Office for a probation violation for an original offense of burglary.
Shortly after being featured as the "Fugitive of the Week" this past Wednesday, Henderson contacted the Strafford County Sheriff's Office and said he would surrender to the task force on Thursday morning, however, he failed to surrender as arranged.
On Thursday Marshals took up the hunt for Henderson again. After several hours of searching, Henderson was eventually located riding in a taxi in Rochester. Task Force Officers from the Strafford County Sheriff's Office and several officers from the Rochester Police Department stopped the taxi and arrested Henderson without incident. He was transported to the Strafford County Department of Corrections where he will be held pending a court appearance.
Henderson had been featured as the "Fugitive of the Week" just yesterday, which was aired on WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch, The Lebanon Voice and prominently featured on the Internet.
