ROCHESTER - Walter "Wally" J. Glowacki, of Rochester, formally of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 16.
He was the beloved son of the late Arthur R. and Elaine T. (McCarthy) Therrien.
Wally was a graduate of Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow, where he excelled in football and several other sports. He was an avid sports fan his entire life proudly following all New England Teams. He loved history and memorabilia and spending whatever time he could at the ocean. He served in the Navy and was proudly stationed on the John F. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier. He worked for many years in the furniture business with his dear friends John and Mona Lucas of Somersworth.
He is survived by one son, Joseph K. Glowacki of Nahant, Mass., brother Frank J. DiChiara and his wife Michele, sister Bernadine M. DiChiara all of Merrimack, niece Kendra A. DiChiara of Farmington, Maine, nephew Anthony F. DiChiara of Bedford, great nephew Carver A. Levigne of Nashua, as well as many cousins and lifelong friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Memorial Service on Monday evening, July 22, at 8 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will precede the Memorial Service on Monday from 5 to 7:45 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are by the H.L.
