Vets eat free at barbecue chicken dinner fund-raiser

ROCHESTER - A group of Rochester Girl Scouts from Troop #12005 will hold a barbecue chicken dinner on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the First Congregational Church at 63 South Main St.

The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Veterans eat for free.

The dinner includes barbecue or teriyaki chicken, green bean casserole, homemade mac n cheese, beverage and dessert.

Anyone going to the dinner is asked to register on Facebook at facebook.com/mary.welch.7140 or email mjwelch1979@gmail.com.

Proceeds of the dinner go to help homeless veterans.
