LEBANON - A New Jersey woman was injured Sunday in a two-car crash at the intersection of Route 202 and Little River and Depot roads.
According to a press release from Lebanon Rescue, “It was reported that a 2013 Kia Sedan was traveling off of Little River Road and going straight onto Depot Road when it reportedly did not stop for a red light. A newer model Chrysler Sebring was traveling west on Carl Broggi Highway with a green light and was struck by the Kia.”
The injured woman, a passenger in the Kia, was taken to Goodall Hospital in Sanford. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Kia, a 21-year-old female from Lebanon, did not require transport.
The driver of the Sebring, a 57-year-old-male from Stratford, N.H.; and his passenger, a 62-year-old female from Stratford, were both wearing seat belts and did not require transport.
Both vehicles received extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
Traffic was detoured while emergency crews worked, and was reopened around 11:30 a.m.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Maine State Police.
