MILTON - Milton Firefighters responded to a plumbing van on fire early today on Charles Street.
The blaze broke out around 1:30 a.m. in the driveway of 58 Charles St. and extended into a nearby garage, according to Northeast Fire Alerts.
The fire was quickly put out but the van was destroyed, said Milton Fire and Rescue Chief Nick Marique, who added only minor damage was done to a portion of the garage's exterior wall.
The blaze is considered suspicious and is being investigated by Milton Police and the state Fire Marshal's Office, Marique said this afternoon.
