ROCHESTER - Slippery road conditions led to a head-on crash Sunday on Cross Road in Rochester.
Both drivers, lone occupants in the vehicles, were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife-threatening conditions.
Rochester Police, Fire and Frisbie EMS answered the call around 6:20 p.m. and responded to Cross Road, where police determined that a Mercury Mountaineer headed toward Farmington and being driven by Bryan Cole, 21, of Farmington, lost control and crossed into the eastbound lane.
Cole's Mountaineer than struck a Honda Civic driven by Tiffany Mai, 24, of Farmington.
Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
