DOVER - The Strafford County Sheriff's Office announced this week that two newly certified full time deputy sheriffs have been released from training and are in service.
Deputies Elizabeth Baez and Matthew Kimball recently completed all aspects of the full-time police academy in Concord. Both attended 16 weeks of rigorous training while at the academy and have completed their in-house field training program.
Deputy Troy Pickering was assigned as the cadre to staff members and was responsible for training several of the recruits during this sixteen week academy.
All three deputies are assigned to the Transport Division of the Strafford County Sheriff's Office. As a Deputy in the Transport Division they are responsible for transport and security dealing with inmates from the county as well as U.S. Marshals Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
