GREENLAND - Two motorists were killed and one seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 on Wednesday.

The crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. near mile marker 9.2 in Greenland with a preliminary investigation revealing that a 2023 Toyota Camry, driven by Steve Le, 24, of Methuen, Mass., was traveling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle, according to a Dept. of Safety press release.

The Camry crossed the median into the southbound travel lanes and collided with a 2019 Ford Econoline, which then, due to the collision, crossed the median from the southbound lanes back into the northbound lanes before stopping at a wood line. Both Le and the driver of the Ford, Leslie Lynn, 58, of Roanake, Va., were pronounced deceased at the scene.

A passenger of the Ford was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of what were described as serious injuries.

Both northbound and southbound lanes were temporarily closed while emergency personnel worked to clear debris and investigate the crash.

Troop A was assisted on the scene by members of the Collision Analysis & Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit, Portsmouth Police Department, Greenland Fire Department, Greenland Police Department, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation and New England Truck Center.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash or with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Brian Hanna at Brian.D.Hanna@dos.nh.gov.
