ROCHESTER - The Trustees of the Trust Fund for the City of Rochester have reallocated $10,000 from the former William W. Evans Trust, originally designated for the NH Tuberculosis Association, an organization that dissolved in 2016.

The decision by the trustees was made earlier this week, according to a release from the city. The remaining funds were approved for charitable and civic initiatives benefiting Rochester residents. The Trustees, in collaboration with the Rochester School Board, have approved allocating the funds to students in need at Spaulding High School.

  • $6,000 for lunch vouchers for students in need.
  • $1,000 to support for the Raider Food Pantry.
  • $3,000 to support the Compassion Closet, which supplies clothing and toiletries.

According to the Trustees, Spaulding High School staff will oversee the distribution of funds. The initiative aligns with the Trustees' mission to manage funds responsibly and support the community's overall well-being.
