ROCHESTER - A transient recently of Rochester was arrested over the weekend after police say he used force on a Kmart employee to flee after a shoplifting incident Saturday night.
Police say Dominic Beraldi escaped, but investigation revealed the suspect’s identify. An arrest warrant was issued for Beraldi for robbery for using physical force when committing a theft, shoplifting.
Through tips using the Rochester Police Facebook page and other online notifications throughout the day Sunday Rochester Police were able to put a BOLO out for a vehicle that Beraldi was suspected of being a passenger in.
The vehicle was located by New Hampshire State Police Troop E on Route 16 early Monday morning.
Beraldi also had another warrant through the Rochester Police Department for a willful concealment incident at the Rochester Walmart on April 14.
He was held on cash bail of $2,750 pending his arraignment.
