Three motorcyclists die in separate crashes, including two from Hudson

The final Saturday in August proved a deadly day for motorcyclists on New Hampshire roadways, with fatal accidents in Albany, Dorchester and Greenville leaving three dead, including two from Hudson.
In Albany a Hudson motorcyclist died when they crashed near the Lower Falls Scenic Area.
Jjae Chamberlain, 51, was riding with another motorcyclist when he lost control for unknown reasons around 6:20 p.m. and crashed on Route 112.
Route 112 was closed for a period of time while crews worked to investigate the scene.

Another motorcycle death occurred around 5:05 p.m. with State Troopers responding to a report of a crash on Route 118 in Dorchester where a preliminary investigation revealed that a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 118 failed to negotiate a turn, crossed the center line and veered into the opposite lane where it struck an oncoming vehicle.
The passenger of the motorcycle, identified as Madeline Tredo, 23, of Meredith, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
Route 118 remained closed for several hours as the investigation continued with the assistance of the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.

Earlier in the day a motorcyclist died after he collided with a vehicle that was pulling onto Fitchburg Road in Greenville.
The crash occurred around 12:26 p.m. at the intersection of Fitchburg and Wilson roads. According to a preliminary probe, a 2012 Harley Davidson Motorcycle, driven by Raymond Russell Jr., 56, of Hudson, collided with a 2013 Subaru Legacy, driven by Cole Gibson, 23, of New Ipswich.
Further investigation revealed that the Harley Davidson Motorcycle had been traveling southbound on Fitchburg Road (Route 31) when the Subaru took a left onto Fitchburg Road from Old Wilton Road and the Harley Davidson Motorcycle struck the driver's side of the Subaru.
Russell died from injuries sustained in the crash. A passenger on the bike sustained serious injuries and was medflighted to an area hospital for treatment. Gibson was treated and released from an area hospital.
The New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit along with Troopers from the Troop B barracks were called in to investigate the crash.
