Three from Rochester Police Department honored for their service

ROCHESTER - Recognized for his professionalism, leadership and dedication. Rochester Police Detective Matthew Kimball has been awarded the Chief Ted Blair Memorial Award. Kimball, who serves in a leadership role with the Strafford County Regional Tactical Operations Unit, was recognized for his work in internet crimes against children, digital forensics, and his willingness to support and mentor fellow officers. His nomination highlighted his ability to maintain a positive attitude, even when handling difficult cases, and his commitment to the mission of the Rochester Police Department. Kimball was one of three honored for their dedication and service. The awards were presented by Rochester Police Chief Gary Boudreau during this month's Police Commission meeting, Boudreau noted that each year department staff submit nominations for three awards, including Support Person of the Year, Officer of the Year, and the Chief Ted Blair Memorial Award. This year, a record number of nominations were received, reflecting a strong culture of peer recognition and appreciation. Also recognized were: Support Person of the Year Police Officer of the Year
