MADISON - For the second time in three days a Route 16 accident resulted in death.
Sunday's crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. when a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling southbound in Madison when it lost control and rolled over, according to state police.
Three adults were ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries, one of whom was transported to Memorial Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
The other male and female adults were flown to Maine Medical with severe injuries, while five children who were found inside the vehicle sustained only minor injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed that three adults were not wearing their seat belts.
Members of the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit, the Carroll County Sheriff's Department, Madison Police Department, Conway Police Department, Conway Fire Department, Madison Fire Department, Action Ambulance, and a number of good Samaritans assisted New Hampshire State Police - Troop E on scene. The New Hampshire State Police are especially grateful for the efforts of the good Samaritans who rendered first aid and aided the children.

On Friday an unidentified child was killed in a three-car crash on Route 16 in Albany.
