This week's DNC is going to be a joke, and its standard bearer will be the Joker and Chief, giggling and guffawing her way into the hearts and minds of sycophantic followers who just weeks ago agreed she was less popular than the president but now - after an onslaught of sophomoric fawning by mainstream media - are suddenly blind to her woeful ineptness for the job she aspires to.
Prior to last month's palace coup that installed her as the presumptive presidential nominee, her favorability rating was lower than President Biden's.
So how did she go from being America's least-liked politician to the "leader of a movement."
It's simple. A fawning, enabling mainstream media that is trying to transform the heretofore so-uncharismatic Kamala into the Taylor Swift of politics.
Yeah, she's a real juggernaut, for sure.
So much so, that they don't want her to open her mouth unless its regurgitating mind-numbing talking points with the aid of a teleprompter.
I believe she's answered reporters' questions twice since she stabbed Biden in the back (et tu Kamala?) last month.
Once was when Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gerskovich was released from Russia as part of a hostage swap. Here's the "word salad" she served up.
"This is just extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy, and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy and strengthening alliances," she said.
Truth is this was a hostage swap in which we got back some innocent people, and Putin got back a some convicted murderers.
The other time was when she was asked on the tarmac when she'd finally allow a live interview or a news conference.
"I'm working with my team," she said. "But I want to have one by the end of the month (August)."
Trust me, she's not working with her team, she's following the team's orders.

And the "team" will still be calling the shots if she somehow hoodwinks the nation into granting her the presidency.
