DOVER - The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce announced recently that Orpheum Apartments and Cowork will once again underwrite the Cochecho Arts Festival, now in its 38th year.
The festival lineup includes the Friday Night Headliner concert series, Tuesday morning Children's Shows, and the Creative Arts Showcase, as well as other community arts offerings.
The 38th Annual Cochecho Arts Festival will be taking place this summer, beginning July 9. Established in 1986, the Cochecho Arts Festival is one of the most popular summer music festivals in the Seacoast. This summer-long festival takes place in Dover's Henry Law Park at the Rotary Arts Pavilion and is free and open to the public. The festival features a wide variety of local and regional performers and artists that draw thousands of people to Dover
While all the festival events are free, attendees are invited to purchase a CAF button, sponsored by Rotary Club of Dover, to show their support for the arts. Only 150 buttons are available, and each purchaser receives a free water bottle at the CAF events. Button purchasers will also be entered into a raffle for a Weber Spirit gas grill, valued at $899, sponsored by Z107. New this year: anyone who shows their CAF button at SEH Studios Art Gallery, 456 Central Ave., Dover, before the end of the festival will be entered into a drawing for an original painting by Susan E. Hanna.
For the full Cochecho Arts Festival schedule visit dovernh.org/caf or stop by the Chamber at 550 Central Ave. in Dover to pick up a brochure and purchase a festival button. The buttons will also be available for purchase at the CAF Friday night concerts.
