The Rochester Voice joins city's chamber of commerce

The Rochester Voice recently joined the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and was welcomed by chamber staff including President Laura Ring.

The Rochester Voice, formerly known as The Lebanon Voice, began publishing its online newspaper in April 2012, and early on only covered Lebanon news.

Within a year it had extended its coverage area to Milton and Rochester.

Rochester Voice President Martha Soto-Galicia said that earlier this year The Lebanon Voice began considering a name-change with increased focus on Rochester along with a website redesign.

Earlier this month the redesign was completed, and the name change became effective, she said.

"We look forward to working with the chamber to the benefit of the city of Rochester and the people who live here," Soto-Galicia said.
