The bikes of summer are once again free to roam; temps to soar near 80 next week

In just a few days folks in the Northern Seacoast may be able to shut down their furnaces after a long, expensive heating season, but don't forget to dust off the air conditioners. You may need them by next Thursday when temps will climb to almost 70 degrees, forecasters say.

The warming trend begins today with temps in the mid-50s followed by a cooler day on Saturday before climbing up into the mid-60s on Monday and upper 70s on Tuesday.

Motorcycles were everywhere on Thursday, and you can expect to see more of them out in the coming days with the dramatic rise in temperatures.

Easter Sunday will see a high of 54 under sunny skies, perfect for showing off those Easter dresses.

And speaking of sunny skies, there's no rain in the extended forecast until April 18.
