Teen accused of tipping over porta-potty with mom, daughter, 4, inside indicted

MANCHESTER - A teenager accused of tipping over a porta-potty with a woman and her four-year-old daughter inside has been indicted.
Aiden Studer, 18, of Manchester, was first charged with two counts of criminal restraint and simple assault on an officer, but the indictment handed down also lists charges of reckless conduct, criminal threatening and exposing the public to toxic biological or chemical substances. The simple assault charge was for Studer allegedly throwing a shoe at a police officer.
Studer got into an argument with the mother at Derryfield Park in Manchester on May 8, which prompted him to push the porta-potty over from behind while they were inside, according to police. The porta-potty tipped onto its front, blocking the mother and daughter from opening the door.
Witnesses told police Studer and the woman were arguing near the porta-potty prior to the incident.
Bystanders helped the pair get out of the porta-potty, but they were covered in feces and urine.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to warrant moving forward to trial.
