Suspect sought in robbery of drugs from city pharmacy

On behalf of Chief Paul R. Toussaint, the Rochester Police Department releases the following:

Rochester Police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly robbed the Rochester drug store of narcotic drugs on Monday.

According to police reports, the man walked into the Care Pharmacy at 161 South Main St. around 6:20 p.m., went directly to the pharmacy section and left with an undisclosed about of narcotic drugs. No weapon was shown, and no one was injured.

The male is described as 6 feet tall, with a slim build and wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, gym type pants with a stripe down the leg, and wearing a skeleton mask with sunglasses.

A K-9 officer tracked the suspect toward Franklin Street where the track went cold.

Rochester Police are asking anyone who may have information that could assist with this investigation to call Det. Livingstone at 330-7128.
