Summer camp kids get hands-on look at police, fire vehicles

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police and Fire teamed up for a touch-a-truck event at the Rec Department on Monday, and the kids couldn't get enough of it.
Children enrolled in summer camp got to see the vehicles and tools needed to perform the job, and they were all reminded on how to stop drop and roll. It was a fun event for all.
These events are held often so there will be more for the public to attend in the future. This was requested by the Rec Department as part of their summer program.
