HOOKSETT - Gov. Chris Sununu and safety officials will hold a press conference later today to kick off this year's Labor Day impaired driving high-visibility enforcement campaign, which begins on Wednesday.
Motorists can expect to see increased law enforcement on the road from through Sept. 6 specifically targeting impaired drivers.
The effort is part of a statewide saturation patrol effort being funded by the state Office of Highway Safety and the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The tagline for this year's enforcement effort is, " Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."
The presser begins at 3 p.m. at the I-93 Southbound Rest Area in Hooksett.
