DANBURY - New Hampshire State Police are investigating the Monday shooting of an man in Danbury.
Police got involved around 10:10 p.m. when State Troopers assigned to the Troop D barracks responded to a residential location in Danbury for a report of a shooting. Nearly simultaneously, members of the Grafton Police Department and Troopers assigned to the Troop F barracks responded to a home in Grafton for a report of a person with a gunshot wound.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting occurred in Danbury before the adult male traveled to Grafton, according to a Dept. of Safety press release sent out on Tuesday.
The adult male was transported to a medical facility for treatment of their injuries. All parties involved in the incident have been identified and there is no threat to the public.
