Special election for Ward 4 state rep set for Feb. 21

ROCHESTER - The Ward 4 special election between Republican David Walker and Democrat Chuck Grassie is scheduled for Feb. 21 at the McClelland School.
The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The decision was made official during Tuesday night's Special Meeting of the City Council, with a unanimous vote.
Walker appeared to have initially won the District 8 seat during the Nov. 8 election, 971-970, but a recount found the two longtime Rochester politicians had tied, 970-970.
