MILTON - A Somersworth, N.H., man has been arrested in a string of thefts from vehicles in Milton during the months of July and August.
John Defalco, of 117 Green St., was booked and charged last Friday with five felony counts of theft from motor vehicles and one misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The arrest came after a several months long investigation, according to Milton Police Cpl. Andrew Magargee. Victims reported an array of items stolen including credit cards, power tools and laptops. Defalco was arraigned on Monday in Rochester District Court and is now awaiting trial.
