So far, city Walmart has been spared bomb threat call; other stores not so lucky

CONCORD - The state's Department of Safety is monitoring multiple calls reporting bombs at Walmart stores throughout the state.

Various state agencies are assisting local law enforcement agencies that are responding to investigating such calls. The New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center is assisting by sharing information between local, state and federal agencies.

Other Walmart stores across the country have reported receiving hoax threats.

At this time, these reports are believed to be a hoax, however, all threats are taken seriously until such time as their validity is determined.

Rochester Police have said that as of late this morning, the Rochester Walmart has not been targeted.

Anyone wishing to report suspicious activity should call their local law enforcement agency or 911.
