ROCHESTER - A spate of minor accidents kept Rochester Police busy today during one of the region's first snowfalls.
As of 3 p.m. police had responded to seven minor accidents, including one in the area of the Farmington Road Tractor Supply store that resulted in at least one person being transported by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries, according to Rochester Police Patrol Sgt. Cory Krochmal.
The crash near Tractor Supply occurred around 11:35 a.m.
While the snowfall was relatively minimal, there were reports of many accidents in Strafford and surrounding counties, including a rollover around 8:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Spaulding Turnpike that was handled by State Police, who were not immediately available.
Thankfully, there were no reports of major injuries in Rochester, Krochmal said.
