DOVER - Multiple overdoses are being reported at the Strafford County Jail this morning.
Dan Auger, executive director of the Sheriff's Office, confirmed to The Lebanon Voice around 9:40 a.m. that at least four ambulances had responded to the jail for what he termed "medical emergencies" a little before 9 a.m.
Northeastfirealerts.com said five ambulances have been requested to treat the victims.
Several fire engine companies were also called to the scene on mutual aid.
Meanwhile, Acting Jail Superintendent Chris Brackett said today he couldn't comment, referring all questions to the SCSO, which is in charge of investigating the matter.
