ROCHESTER - DPW crews will continue their work today on a sewer line located on Highland Street and Eastern Avenue.

The work began on Thursday and is expected to be finished by 6 a.m. on Saturday.

This repairs involve the use of septic hauler trucks and pumping equipment to remove flows from the sewer main and/or pump station during low-flow periods, allowing for local sewer main rehabilitation, according to a release from the city. The equipment involved runs at very high RPMs and can be loud at times.
