Seniors get a break from the ravages of inflation during Saturday Day of Caring

ROCHESTER - Seniors finding it hard to make ends meet will get some needed relief on Saturday when they'll be able to head downtown to get free food, haircuts, a meal and personal care items while enjoying a while enjoying the company of with therapy dogs and live music from a local band.

The Senior Day of Caring is being put on by a host of local agencies and nonprofits. It runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rochester Housing Authority at 77 Olde Farm Lane

The entertainment will be courtesy of Skip Smith, executive director of The Share Fund. His band, Three Shades of Gray, also includes Mike Quigley of Lebanon, Maine.
