School Dept. asks for public's help in selecting new superintendent

ROCHESTER - The City of Rochester is currently searching for a new Superintendent of Schools, and the School Department has engaged the services of the New England School Development Council to assist.

An integral part of the superintendent search involves the community's participation in the needs assessment process.

VIRTUAL FOCUS GROUPS:

  • he virtual focus group via ZOOM for municipal members will be held next on Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. Click here for the meeting link.
  • The virtual focus group via ZOOM for the business community will be held on Feb. 15 from 6-7 p.m. Click here for the meeting link.

ONLINE SURVEY:

  • Please access the survey here. The survey will be open from now through Feb. 26, 2024.

The online survey and focus groups are designed to enable participants to provide insight into the knowledge, skills, and experiences they want the new superintendent to possess.

NESDEC consultant Dr. Carolyn Burke is working with the School Board to facilitate the search and conduct the community needs assessment.
