Ruth Lucey ... enjoyed word puzzles of all types; at 95

SOMERSWORTH - Ruth Lucey died peacefully at her home in Somersworth on December 1, surrounded by her family, at the age of 95.

Ruth was the widow of George Lucey and is survived by her children George and his wife Gale of Strafford; Michael of Somersworth; Stephen of Northwood; Debra Hillsgrove of Somersworth; Kevin of Rochester; Mark and his husband Greg of Rochester, and Eileen of Somersworth. She is preceded in death by siblings Kenneth, Doris, Beatrice, and grandson Corey Hillsgrove.

Ruth was born in Pittsfield to Norman and Hilda (Mckay). Ruth worked for many years in nearby factories. She married her husband of 68 years in 1947 and eventually settled in Somersworth with her growing family. In her free time, when she wasn't taking care of her seven children, she enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, gardening, birdwatching, jigsaw puzzles, and word puzzles of all sorts.
