ROCHESTER - The Rochester Public Library Teen Room recently announced a variety of activities and events designed to engage teens throughout December. Geared toward teens aged 12-18. Some of activities include

• Break-out bags (with prizes) are available all month.
• A scavenger hunt where participants can crack the mystery Lord of the Rings phrase to win candy, vinyl stickers, or other small prizes.
• On Saturday, December 2nd, from 1-3 pm, teens are invited to participate in a gift-wrapping session. All materials, refreshments, and even crafting supplies for those in need of a last-minute gift will be provided.
• On Monday, December 11th, at 6 pm, teens can enjoy gingerbread house decorating.
• Additionally, teens are welcome to swing by during the vacation period to grab a book or playaway.
• For tech enthusiasts, there will be an electronics showcase and an interactive robot session on Thursday, December 28th, starting at 10 am.

Amy Lemelin, from the Rochester Public Library, shared, "These Teen programs are part of the library's ongoing efforts to engage teens, foster learning, and provide a welcoming space for information, studying, socializing, and reading. The Teen Room is always evolving with our Teens' needs in mind. We hope that Teens will turn to the Library as a resource."
