QUINCY, Mass. - Rose Marie Rogers, formerly of Rochester, N.H., died in the presence of her family on Aug. 25, 2024, in Quincy.

Rose Marie was born in Wolfeboro, N.H., to Samual and Irene Jones. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Roland Rogers and brother James Jones of Concord, N.H.

Rose Marie was a graduate of the University of NH and earned a master's degree in social work from the University of Connecticut. The majority of Rose Marie's career was spent working for the NH Association for the Blind. She was the Director of Professional Services upon her retirement. After her retirement, she began her 2nd career as a NH State Representative. Rose Marie was very passionate about the protection and conservation of New Hampshire's natural resources. She served multiple terms on the Fish and Game Committee.

Rose Marie loved to travel, particularly to Prince Edward Island to visit with extended family. She also traveled to Alaska and China. She enjoyed being a grandmother and could be seen cheering her grandchildren on during many baseball and hockey games over the years.

Rose Marie is survived by her cherished sister Irene Dunbar of Albuquerque, N.M., and sister-in-law Muriel Trueworthy of Rochester, son Dan Rogers of Wolfeboro, N.H., daughter Katherine (Rogers) McDougall and husband Michael of Milton, Mass., her grandchildren Matthew and wife Kate of Hingham, Mass., Ryan, Meaghan, Dylan, Sean, Amanda and her great grandson Brooks.

Rose Marie will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her.
