DOVER - A Rochester woman is facing decades in prison and more than $200,000 in fines after she was indicted on drug trafficking and possession charges.
Nicki Lynn Paquette, 39, of Rea Road, Rochester, is accused of trafficking of meth on Dec. 23 in Rochester and again on Jan. 2 in Milton. In both cases she allegedly sold the drugs to an individual cooperating with a law enforcement agency.
The possession charge involving the drug fentanyl occurred on Jan. 11 in Rochester.
Each charge carry a maximum prison sentence of seven years, while the two trafficking counts also carry a $100,000 fine apiece.
The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on June 20 and released on July 1.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to a grand jury to warrant moving forward to trial.
