ALFRED, Maine - A Rochester man has been indicted in the burglary of a South Berwick home.
The incident allegedly occurred on July 25, when Brandon J. Baker, 33, of 6 North Main St., Rochester, N.H., is accused of breaking into the dwelling.
Baker is charged with two counts of felony burglary that can draw up to 10 years apiece in a Maine State Prison and up to $40,000 in fines.
South Berwick Police were not immediately available for comment.
The York County grand jury indictments were handed down on Dec 5 and released on Friday.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant moving forward to trial.
