SANFORD, Maine - A Rochester man was charged with assault and terrorizing after a domestic violence arrest in Sanford on Friday.
Justin T. Farrand, 27, of Hope Drive, Rochester, was taken into custody after police responded to a Twombley Road residence for a domestic disturbance around 3 p.m.
The alleged victim said she had been assaulted and threatened, Sanford Deputy Police Chief Tim Strout said today.
Farrand was charged with DV assault and terrorizing as well as violating conditions of release, according to Strout.
Farrand was booked at York County Jail and released on Monday after posting $300 cash bail, a York County Jail spokesperson said today.
Strout said the victim did not require medical attention.
