ROCHESTER - The Rochester Fire Department, in collaboration with the American Red Cross, recently announced the return of "Sound the Alarm", a program that offers an opportunity for homeowners and renters to enhance home safety by receiving and installing smoke alarms at no cost.

According to Fire & Life Safety Educator Maria Busuito-Lima, Sound the Alarm promotes residential fire prevention by providing the necessary tools and resources needed to protect families.

"This is our chance to make an impact on home safety throughout our community," said Busuito-Lima. "Together, we can do great things and ensure our families are safe and protected."

To participate, residents need to complete an application. Busuito-Lima is available to assist with the application process and submission.

For additional information and general inquiries, contact Busuito-Lima at (603) 330-7160.
