TILTON - On Saturday representatives from the Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 traveled to the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton for the purpose of presenting a donation in the amount of $1,000 dollars to the facility. During the presentation, the Rochester members were also able to have a short visit with Vets Home resident and Rochester Elks member Norman Sanborn Sr.. Norm has been a resident of the Home for a few years and was a very active member in veterans' affairs in New Hampshire for decades. He is a past recipient of the NH State Elks Veteran Volunteer of the Year Award.

Making the presentation to NH Vets Home Recreation Therapist Megan Rowe were the following Rochester Elks: Peter Ducharme, Exalted Ruler; Norman Gervais, PER, Lodge Secretary and ENF Lodge Chairman; Mark Guilmett, Past Exalted Ruler and Don Chesnel, Grand Esteemed Lecturing Knight.
